Outreach Activities/BCC
Behavior Change Communication (BCC) is an interactive process that engages our target beneficiaries and communities to develop strategies promoting positive behaviors suited to their context. This approach creates supportive environments, enabling people to start, sustain, and maintain desirable behaviors for better health and wellbeing outcomes.
Clinical Services
Our clinical services include regular medical checkups, presumptive treatments, internal checkups, condom distribution, risk assessments, and STI counseling. These services enhance community health by providing essential medical care, promoting safe practices, primarily focussing on the prevention and treatment of HIV.
Capacity Building of Staff
The Capacity Building program aims to support us in developing an effective, well-managed organization. By optimizing human and financial resources, this ensures business sustainability and enhances our ability to deliver impactful services and achieve long-term goals.
Community Mobilization
We engage communities through events that attract grassroots participation, involving members in outreach planning, crisis management, and activity monitoring. By including community input in designing capacity-building modules and communication materials, we ensure that initiatives are relevant and effectively address local needs.
OUR PROJECTS
Ekta VIHAAN
Ekta Vihaan is a comprehensive project aimed at providing essential care and support services to individuals living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV). Through this project, we seek to improve the quality of life for PLHIV by:

Increasing access to services: Expanding access to essential services, including HIV testing, counseling, treatment, and prevention

Early linkage: Connecting PLHIV to care, support, and treatment services as soon as possible after diagnosis

Reducing stigma and discrimination: Promoting awareness and understanding of HIV/AIDS and challenging negative stereotypes

Increasing treatment adherence: Supporting PLHIV in adhering to their treatment regimens to achieve optimal health outcomes

Ekta Equal
Ekta Equal is dedicated to empowering transgender individuals in the Thane-Belapur region, with a head office in Koperkhairne.
By offering HIV prevention education, vocational training, and community outreach, we aim to break down barriers and foster the integration of transgender persons into mainstream society.
Our goal is to create a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
Ekta Equality
Ekta Equality is dedicated to empowering men who have sex with men (MSM) in the Thane-Belapur region, with a head office in Turbhe.
By promoting HIV prevention awareness, safe sex practices and access to essential services customized to the beneficiaries, we aim to reduce the risk of HIV transmission and improve the overall well-being of MSM communities, safe environments for them to thrive.
Ekta Migrant
Ekta Migrant is dedicated to supporting migrant men in the field area of Bhiwandi.
By providing HIV prevention education, vocational training, and access to social benefits, we aim to create a supportive environment which empowers migrant individuals, reduces exploitation and provides opportunities for economic independence

Support
Partnering with Karunya Sanstha, to provide access to nutritional support to ensure optimal health and well-being, especially for those undergoing medical treatment.
Skilling
and Placements
We equip individuals with marketable skills by offering training in beauty services and driving. Through partnerships with Vatsalya Foundation, we facilitate placements to create sustainable livelihoods and economic independence.
Access to
Healthcare
We ensure access to quality healthcare, essential medical supplies, and timely referrals to specialized care. Our goal is to improve the overall health and well-being of our beneficiaries.
Social
Entitlements
We facilitate access to essential government benefits such as ration cards, Aadhaar cards, and transgender identity cards to enable financial independence and social inclusion.
Communication
and Empowerment
We offer spoken English courses to enhance communication and employability skills. By building language proficiency, we empower individuals to confidently navigate educational and professional pathways.
